She comes to us from the University of Victory on Vancouver Island where she is registered in the Cooperative Biochemistry and Microbiology program. \u00a0Sam will be working with Dr. Olesya Kharenko on the co-crystallization of <em>Arabidopsis thaliana<\/em> START domain ABA receptors with a variety of novel agonists. \u00a0Her position is funded by the NRC Genomics and Health Initiative which has been funding the Loewen Lab for 10 years now.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.loewenlabs.com\/michele\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Sam.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-290\" title=\"Sam\" src=\"https:\/\/www.loewenlabs.com\/michele\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Sam-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to have Samantha Kampman join the Loewen Lab for the summer.
